Thomas Shehane

Thomas "Tom" Andrew Shehane, age 67. passed from this life July 19, 2026. Thomas was born January 21, 1959 in Luling, LA to the late Marion Authur Shehane and Francine Pace Shehane.

Tom was a Baton Rouge native who loved duck hunting, LSU football , and playing golf with friends. He was a banker for most of his life, beginning as a bank teller right out of college. He is proceeded in death by his father Marion A. Shehane, mother Francine Pace Shehane, and brother Steven A. Shehane. He is survived and remembered by his two children, Raleigh Elizabeth Shehane and son Matthew Thomas Shehane. Also survived by brother Kenneth M. and Sheryl Shehane, Darlene Shehane, Dori and John Bezdek, as well as many nieces and nephews: Michael and Steven Eggleston-Shehane, Deanne and Rob Ratliff, Shelley Shehane, Lindsey and Don Short, Clarissa Bezdek, Meredith Bezdek, and Elliot Bezdek. And great nephews Ford Ratliff, and Braydon Short. son and many more direct family he loved. 

A memorial service in his honor will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Maison Blanche Funeral Home Chapel. The family invites friends to gather from 11:00 until time of service for visitation.
