Rev. Ralph Lee Endsley, Jr, aged 84, passed from this life May 12, 2026 at his home, Whitehall Plantation, surrounded by family. Rev. Endsley was born June 16, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Roslyn Packard Endsley and Ralph Endsley, Sr.
Rev. Ralph Endsley devoted his life to faith, family, and ministry, serving faithfully for more than fifty years as a pastor, mentor, and servant of God. His unwavering convictions, steadfast leadership, and deep love for people left a lasting impact on countless lives and on the church he faithfully shepherded for decades. While earning his master’s degree from University of Louisiana Monroe, Rev. Endsley married the love of his life, Olivia Faye Yeats. Together they moved to Houston, TX where they served as associate pastors at First Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Verbal Bean. Later, Rev. and Mrs. Endsley returned home to Monroe, LA; and he continued his ministry as pastor of Selman Field Pentecostal Church. Later, it was known as First Apostolic Church of Monroe, no doubt influenced from his time in the Apostolic Ministerial Fellowship (AMF). Through his dedication, sacrifice, and vision, the church experienced tremendous growth and became the largest it had ever been. He poured his heart, soul, finances, and life into the ministry he loved. In addition to his pastoral work, Rev. Endsley was a leader in education founding and operating a private school for many years, investing in the spiritual and educational lives of generations of young people. He found joy at home with his horses, his gun collection, and especially his beloved grandchildren. He was known as a man of unwavering faith and strong convictions who always stood firmly for what was right. Rev. Ralph L. Endsley leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, integrity, sacrifice, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His life was a testimony of devotion to God, his family, and the church he served so faithfully for over fifty years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Olivia Yeats Endsley, and his daughter Dr. Teresa Endsley.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter Dana Strickland(Simeon); six grandchildren Hadassah Endsley Lester (Tommy), Judith Warren (Nathan), Micah Endsley, Lauren Strickland (Mikala), Anna Marie Smith (Tyler), and Olivia Strickland; four great grandchildren Maddie, Thomas, MJ, and Harper.
