West Monroe

Linda Faye Sims-Nettles, 68, entered into eternal rest, on March 31, 2026, in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi, and carried her warmth, humor, and love for family everywhere she went throughout her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Maudine Sims Moreland; her father, Arlie Sims; and her daughter, Tracy Thompson.

She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply, including her daughters, Kourtney Sims and Haley Nettles (Crystal Nettles); her four grandsons, Zayne Sims, Connor, Ethan, and Sheldon Pollard; two granddaughters Jessica Smith and Alex Langford; two great-grandchildren, Eden and Silas Pollard; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Linda was a loving mother, Nana, and friend. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved them dearly. She will be remembered for her funny personality, the many hilarious stories she loved to tell, and the joy she brought to those around her. She had a love for music, laughter, and making memories with the people she loved most.

Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation.
