Jerry Freeland

Jerry Martin Freeland, age 82, passed from this life Sunday, August 30, 2026. Jerry was born March 11, 1944 in Rayville, LA to the late Bryant and Ella Freeland.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Lillian Reitzell and Lola Temple.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of thirty years Donna Freeland; one son Jason Freeland (Tammy); three stepsons Justin Johnson, Jared Johnson, Jacob Johnson; three grandchildren Leah Freeland (Payton Miller), Jacob Freeland, Joni Royals (Bruce); nine great-grandchildren Jacob, Allayah, Hudson, Beckett, Addison, Mason, Braxton, Paislee, Tucker, and Wyatt; two sisters Janet Pearson, Jean Silk; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service in his honor will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2026, at Northeast Louisiana VA Cemetery.
